Holocaust Survivor, Author to Speak at Quinnipiac
Ruth Minsky Sender, 88, will share her story on Sunday, April 19.

Holocaust survivor and author Ruth Minsky Sender will share her story at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, at the Peter C. Hereld House for Jewish Life at Quinnipiac University, 560 New Road.
Sender, 88, was the fourth of seven children born to Avromele and Nacha Minska in Lodz, Poland. During her youth, Sender and several family members were deported to Auschwitz, where Sender was the only one to survive the Holocaust.

Sender wrote about her experience in three memoirs, “The Cage,” “To Life” and “Holocaust Lady,” for which she has won numerous awards.
