JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes to discuss leadership in the airline industry with Quinnipiac University President Judy Olian on Oct. 10
HAMDEN – JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes will sit down with Quinnipiac University President Judy Olian to discuss his perspectives on leadership in the airline industry on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 1:30 p.m. in the Mount Carmel Auditorium at Quinnipiac University, 275 Mount Carmel Ave.
Hayes will talk about the use of artificial intelligence and data analytics in the airline industry. He also will take questions from the audience.
Hayes joined JetBlue in 2008 and served as the company’s executive vice president and chief commercial officer until becoming president of the airline in January 2014. In February 2015, he was appointed as JetBlue’s third chief executive officer, serving as president and CEO until 2018.
Prior to joining JetBlue, Hayes was executive vice president for the Americas at British Airways. Over the span of a wide-ranging, 19-year career with British Airways, he also served as area general manager for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean.
He serves as chair of the board of Airlines for America, past chair of the Board of Governors of the International Air Transport Association, and a member of the board of KeyCorp and Make-A-Wish Connecticut.
