Kansas Performing in Hamden Friday Night

Progressive rock band Kansas, which broke onto the scene in the 1970s and has remained popular ever since, will take the stage Friday night (July 24) as part of the town’s Free Summer Concert Series.

Kansas has produced eight gold albums, three platinum albums, one live platinum album and a million-selling single, Dust in the Wind. Other hits include Carry on Wayward Son and Point of Know Return.

Opening act XYZ Revisited kicks off the night at 7:15 p.m. and Kansas performs at 8:15 p.m.
