'The Ladies Who Swing the Band' Coming to Hamden
The Hamden Arts Commission presents the local debut of the New York Group 'String of Pearls' in its Sunday performance series.

The Hamden Art Commission continues its 2015-2016 season of “Peter C. Hereld Sensational Sunday Performance Series” with a concert entitled “The Ladies Who Swing the Band.”
Hamden will welcome the local debut of the New York group, String of Pearls, on Nov. 22 at 2 pm.
This female vocal trio performs vintage “girl group” music and modern vocal jazz, combining a swing style with musical excellence. The trio breathes new life into the great music of such groups as the Andrews Sisters, Mills Brothers and Count Basie. They also perform a variety of original arrangements.
