Educational Supply Retailer To Close In Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — An educational supply retailer is closing its store in Hamden next month, according to the New Haven Register.

The Register reports Lakeshore Learning Store will close after more than 11 years in the Marketplace at Hamden shopping center at 2335 Dixwell Ave. because officials with the California-based retailer couldn’t come to an agreement on a new lease.

The Hamden location is Lakeshore Learning’s only store in Connecticut.
