Lane Closures Announced On Route 15 In Hamden
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is advising motorists of lane closures that will be in effect over multiple weeks on Route 15.
HAMDEN, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a subsurface exploration will be taking place on Route 15 in the area of Exit 51 in Hamden and North Haven.
“This is a stationary operation of investigating the soil, rock, and groundwater conditions beneath a construction site,” officials wrote in an advisory.

DETOUR/LANE CLOSURE INFO
There will be lane closures of the right lane and right shoulder on Route 15 in Hamden/North Haven near Exit 51 including ramps from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between the dates of June 11 and June 26, 2026, Monday through Friday

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
