Learn to combat technology-related neck pain at Quinnipiac University virtual event

HAMDEN – Quinnipiac University will host the virtual event, “What a Pain in the Neck: How to Avoid Text Neck and Tech Related Pain,” at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 27.
Duane Scotti, PhD, a clinical associate professor of physical therapy at QU, will discuss and demonstrate techniques for combating technology-related neck pain.
“In a post-pandemic environment, there continues to be a large segment of the population performing work-related tasks virtually, whether that is from their laptop at home or on their smartphone,” Scotti said. “Implementing simple environmental modifications and exercises can be effective strategies for preventing tech-related neck pain.”
