Local School Helps Kick-Off Stop & Shop A+ Rewards Program

Stop & Shop A+ Rewards Program Launched!

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Principal Patricia Brady (far left), Stop & Shop Manager of Public Relations and Community Relations, Cindy Carrasquilla (center), and Rebecca Timlin-Scalera (far right), Member of the School Parent Association join students ranging from Kindergarten to 8th grade at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in Fairfield, CT helped kick-off the Stop & Shop A+ Rewards program.

Stop & Shop's A+ program is available to public and private schools throughout Connecticut and allows schools to earn cash for scholarships, technology, sports equipment, field trips and other educational needs when customers designate the school as the school of their choice. A+ School Rewards points accrue when customers make purchases using their Stop & Shop card.

A special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held at the school where they unveiled the lockers and Chromebooks they were able to purchase as a result of their involvement with last year's Stop & Shop’s A+ School Rewards Program.

Since 2007, Stop & Shop’s A+ School Rewards program has raised more than $5 million to help both public and private schools in the New York Metro region fulfill their academic and enrichment needs.
