Best-Selling Author, TEDx Speaker and Coach Erin Hatzikostas to present

‘Make Authenticity Your Secret Weapon to Success and Happiness’
April 18 at Quinnipiac University

HAMDEN – Erin Hatzikostas, a best-selling author, TEDx speaker, coach-consultant and podcast co-host, will present the talk, “Make Authenticity Your Secret Weapon to Success and Happiness,” from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 18, at Burt Kahn Court at Quinnipiac University, 275 Mount Carmel Ave. This presentation, which is part of The Denise J. Fiore Thought Leaders in Healthcare Speaker Series, is free and open to the public. Register here.

“Authenticity is a fast pass to building and nurturing our relationships, careers, friendships and even physical and mental well-being,” Hatzikostas said. “But authenticity is much more than simply a permission to ‘be yourself,’ it’s a powerful and nuanced concept that can literally be you and your company’s most strategic weapon for happiness and business success.”

Hatzikostas will tell stories, share inspirational videos and highlight the primary research her company conducted, quantifying the impact of authenticity in the workplace. She’ll also discuss her proprietary framework, “The Six Principles of Strategic Authenticity” (H.U.M.A.N.S.) and demonstrate how authenticity can be purposefully practiced.

“Following the presentation, attendees will have a new and inspiring view of just what authenticity really is and will be armed and excited to put authenticity into action as soon as they leave the talk,” Hatzikostas said.

Janelle Chiasera, dean of the school of Health Sciences, said, “I am very excited that Erin will be engaging our community in something as important as building relationships, friendships and physical and mental well-being. Let’s face it, the environment around us is hard and people are feeling stressed. I thank Denise Fiore for her generous donation that is allowing us to help people see that they can be successful and happy even in these challenging times.”

During the program, 25 copies of Hatzikostas’ book “You Do You(ish): Unleash Your Authentic Superpowers to Get the Career You Deserve,” will be given away.
