Missing 84-Year-old Hamden Man Found Safe: UPDATE
The man was last seen leaving a family friend's house in Meriden on Monday afternoon, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A Silver Alert has been canceled for Vitaliano Roccapriore, 84, who was found safe, police said in an update on Tuesday night.
Roccapriore drove down to New Jersey and ran out of gas in the Long Island, New York area on Tuesday, a family member said in a post on Facebook. Police have him in their care until family arrives to get him and bring him home, they said.

Roccapriore is described by police as a bald white male with brown eyes. He is 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, black winter jacket and blue jeans. He is believed to be driving a 2015 white Mercedes Benz G25 with CT plate AH62933.

Roccapriore has medical conditions that police say may require attention. He was last seen leaving a family friend’s house in Meriden around 12:30 p.m., according to police.
