Man Burglarized Deli On Back-To-Back Days: Hamden Police
Police say the man threw a large rock through a glass window on both occasions to break into the deli.

HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man is accused of burglarizing Snack Plus Deli on back-to-back days this past October, according to police. The burglaries occurred at the deli, 75 Putnam Ave., on Oct. 18 and Oct. 19, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said police found that Felix Torres threw a large rock through a plate glass window on both occasions to get into the deli. Once inside, he stole an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, Smith said.
Det. Mark Sheppard conducted the investigations that led to two arrest warrants.

Torres, 47, of State Street, was arrested Jan. 8 at Meriden Superior Court. He was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree larceny and fifth-degree larceny. He was detained on a court-ordered $75,000 bond.
