Man Caught Selling Oxycotin Pills in Hamden: Police

Police say the man sold the pills in Hamden on several occasions.

HAMDEN, CT — A Waterbury man is accused of selling Oxycotin pills in Hamden on several occasions, according to police.

At about 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 14, members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team, along with the Hamden Police Department Patrol Division, concluded a drug investigation with the arrest of Kristopher Williams in the vicinity of Arch Street and Fitch Street, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said investigation revealed that Williams sold Oxycotin pills on four separate occasions and police submitted a warrant for his arrest.

Officers observed Williams in the area of Arch Street on Nov. 14 and he was promptly arrested on the strength of the four arrest warrants.

Smith said Williams was found to be in the possession of 10 Oxycotin pills.

Williams, 26, of Green Street in Waterbury, was charged with several counts of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with the intent to sell. Williams is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Nov. 28.
