Man Critically Injured In Shooting In Hamden: Police

The man was shot multiple times Saturday night in Hamden, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A man was critically injured after being shot Saturday night in Hamden, according to police.

Police responded to Warner Street around 10:30 p.m. on the report of a shooting, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.

Dolan said officers found a 39-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The gunshot victim was treated at the scene and taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with critical injuries, according to Dolan.

Detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are actively working on the investigation, Dolan said.
