Man Hospitalized After Shooting In Hamden: Police
The shooting happened late Sunday night in Hamden, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — A man was hospitalized after being shot late Sunday night in Hamden, according to police.
Police responded to Manila Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 on the report of shots fired, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.
Dolan said responding officers found one victim at the scene with a non-life threatening, gunshot injury to the leg.

The 35-year-old man was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital. Police recovered ballistic evidence at the scene and are following up on multiple leads, according to Dolan.
Dolan said detectives from the Hamden Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit and Crime Scene Unit are actively investigating the shooting.
