Man Seriously Injured In Shooting: Hamden Police

The man was hospitalized after the shooting, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — A man was hospitalized with serious injuries after a shooting early Sunday morning in Hamden, according to police.

Police responded to Regency Hill Condominiums in the 300 block of Pine Rock Avenue, around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 13 on the report of a shooting, according to Sgt. Angela Vey.

Vey said officers found a male victim, a 32-year-old Hamden resident, on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital with serious injuries, according to Vey.

The Major Crimes Unit is investigating the shooting and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Gabriel Garcia at 203-230-4000.
