Man Strikes 2 Vehicles While Driving Wrong Way On Route 15: PD
The man was arrested after after striking two cars, including.a CT State Police cruiser, failing field sobriety test, State Police said.

HAMDEN, CT — A 44-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested Sunday night after the car he was driving struck two vehicles, including a Connecticut State police cruiser, while traveling in the wrong direction on Route 15 shortly after 10 p.m.. According to a police report, Rodenstein Mine was arrested after he failed a field sobriety test after the car he was driving struck the state police cruiser while driving north in the southbound lane near Exit 64. After hitting the police car, Mine continued driving north and struck a second vehicle head-on near Exit 66.
Mine was arrested following the field sobriety test and was charged with second degree reckless endangerment, drinking while operating a motor vehicle (third offense), driving the wrong way on a highway, driving with a suspended license, evading responsibility in a motor vehicle and failure to obey the signal of a police officer. Bond was set at $10,000 bond, which Mine was unable to post, police said.
Mine is scheduled to appear in court in New Haven on Monday morning.
