Man Threw Loaded Gun Out Bedroom Window During Search: Hamden Police
The man is accused of throwing a loaded gun out of a bedroom window while police were executing a search warrant, according to officials.

HAMDEN, CT — A man was arrested after police said he threw a loaded gun out of a bedroom window while authorities were executing a search warrant Friday in Hamden.
Officers from the Hamden Police Department and New Haven Police Department were executing the search warrant at a Mill Rock Road residence in connection with an ongoing criminal investigation, according to Detective Sean J. Dolan.
During the investigation, an occupant of the residence, later identified as Tyrone Zimmerman, threw a loaded gun out of a bedroom window, Dolan said.

Zimmerman, 20, of Hamden, was charged with criminal possession of a firearm and interfering with a search warrant. He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond with a court date of June 30.
