Man, Woman Arrested on Prostitution Charges, Again: Hamden Police
Police concluded a prostitution investigation with the arrests of two Hamden residents following an undercover sting operation.
HAMDEN, CT — A Hamden man and woman have been arrested on prostitution-related charges for the third time in the last five months following an undercover sting operation.
On Nov. 14, members of the Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team and Detective Division concluded a prostitution investigation, which occurred in the 100 block of Park Avenue, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.
Smith said Hamden Police had received numerous complaints from area residents regarding suspicious activity occurring at the address.

The investigation led to the arrests of Angelica McLaughlin and Dante Franchi. They were arrested at the Park Avenue address after an undercover sting operation, according to Smith.
McLaughlin, 25, of Park Avenue, was charged with prostitution. McLaughlin, who was detained on a $25,000 bond, is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Nov. 28.

Franchi, 55, of Park Avenue, was charged with permitting prostitution. Franchi was also held on a $25,000 bond is scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 28.
Franchi and McLaughlin were previously arrested on prostitution-related charges on June 17 and June 24 following undercover sting operations.
