Masked Gunmen Threaten To Kill Woman During Robbery: Hamden PD

The woman was sitting in her parked car waiting for a friend when two armed men wearing ski masks robbed and threatened her, police said.

HAMDEN, CT — Two masked gunmen threatened to kill a 21-year-old woman during a robbery Thursday night in Hamden, according to police.

Police responded to Walden Street around 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 on the report of an armed street robbery, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said the woman was sitting in her parked car and waiting for a friend when two men wearing ski masks got out of a gray four-door sedan and brandished guns.

One man opened the driver’s side door, pointed his gun at the victim and demanded money. The other man also pointed his gun at her, according to Smith.

They threatened to shoot her if she didn’t give them her cell phone, computer and jacket. They then ordered her to “run” and said that if she stopped, they would “shoot and kill” her, Smith said.

The suspects were last seen leaving in the sedan toward Whitney Avenue.
