Masked Man Robs Pizza Deliveryman at Gunpoint on New Year’s Eve: Hamden Police
The suspect also punched the deliveryman in the face during the robbery, according to police.

HAMDEN, CT — Hamden Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman on New Year’s Eve in Hamden.
At about 9:45 p.m. on Dec. 31, Hamden Police responded to Warner Street on the report of an armed robbery.
Investigation revealed that the victim was delivering a pizza from a local restaurant to a Warner Street address, according to Capt. Ronald Smith.

Smith said that as the victim was retrieving the pizza from the backseat of his vehicle, an individual, who was holding a firearm, approached him and punched him in the face. The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money in the robbery.
The suspect is described as dark-skinned black male in his 20s, 5-feet, 9-inches tall with a thin build and was wearing a ski mask.
