Masked Men Rob Hamden Game Store

Police said one of the men was armed with a rifle and they stole several items along with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Hamden police are looked for two men that robbed the Game Exchange on Dixwell Avenue on Tuesday night.

Police responded to the store, located at 2165 Dixwell Avenue, at about 9 p.m. on Sept. 8 on the report of an armed robbery, Capt. Ronald Smith said in a press release.

Smith said investigation revealed that two individuals, one who was armed with a rifle, entered the store and stole merchandise that they placed in duffle bags.

Stolen items included cell phones, electronic equipment and an undisclosed amount of money. They fled on foot northbound through the parking lot.

A Hamden Police K-9 track was initiated, but met with negative results, according to Smith.

Both of the individuals are described as dark-skinned males, 25 to 30 years of age, wearing masks, gloves and hooded clothing.
