Massive Fire Damages Hamden Apartment Complex
More than 20 apartments were deemed uninhabitable after the building's roof collapsed, according to a report.

HAMDEN, CT — An early-morning fire significantly damaged a Hamden apartment complex Saturday and likely displaced numerous residents, according to authorities and reports.
The Hamden Fire Department confirmed all on-duty companies responded to the fire on Town Walk Drive. According to a WFSB report, the fire started around 4:30 a.m.
Fire officials told WFSB the building's second and third stories were on fire before the roof collapsed, making 21 apartments uninhabitable. It's unclear how many residents lived in those apartments.

No one was inside during the collapse, according to WFSB.
A FOX 61 report said no injuries were reported following the blaze.
