Meeting To Introduce Southern Hamden Community Engagement Consultant

HAMDEN, CT — Town officials are inviting the public to attend a public meeting to meet the Southern Hamden Community Engagement Consultant, Launch Consulting.

Meet the Southern Hamden Community Engagement Consultant, Wednesday, July 31, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., ConnCORP, 265 Morse St, Hamden, CT 06517

The purpose of the meeting is to accomplish the following:

1. Introduce the community engagement consultant Launch Consulting to residents and stakeholders;
2. Introduce the process that will evolve over the next year to two years;
3. Hear and compile needs and concerns about the process, phases, and focus areas from residents of the Newhall and Highwood Communities; and
4. Initiate shared expectations between the Town, residents and stakeholders.

Launch Consulting (https://launchconsult.com/) is a Hamden, CT based minority and women owned firm that partners with leaders, organizations, and communities to assess and support readiness for change; discover core purpose; provide coaching through challenging situations; and assist in the development of practices, policies and systems that are in alignment with established or newly created goals and aspirations.

The Town of Hamden has engaged Launch Consulting to provide these community engagement services through December 2026. After the introduction meeting, Launch Consulting, the Town of Hamden, and residents will establish a meeting schedule for future listening sessions and project discussions to develop a community plan.
