Local Men Arrested On 274 Combined Charges In Car Burglary Spree: Clinton Police
All of the vehicles that were stolen in the crime spree were recovered in Hamden and New Haven, according to Clinton Police.
CLINTON, CT — Two New Haven men have been arrested on 274 combined charges in connection to a series of motor vehicle thefts and burglaries that occurred in Clinton this past November, according to police.
Clinton Police have been actively investigating the numerous thefts and burglaries that occurred on Nov. 11 and Nov. 26, according to Sgt. Joseph Flynn.
“The investigation found that the incidents in Clinton were connected to similar incidents in other towns across the entire state of Connecticut,” Flynn said in a press release. “At the time citizens reported thefts from unlocked vehicles and theft of five vehicles. All of the vehicles were recovered in the weeks after in New Haven and Hamden. Suspects stole property including wallets, credit cards, electronics, phones and a loaded hand gun. Some of the items have been recovered. The hand gun has not been recovered.”

Police identified many suspects in the investigation and two have been arrested, according to Flynn.
Montrell Homes, 20, of Butler Street in New Haven, and Dajuan Bostic (also known as Dajuan Harrison), 19, of Ivy Street in New Haven, were both arrested March 7 on numerous charges.
