Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash: Hamden Police
The motorcyclist was hospitalized after a crash with a pickup truck on Sunday, according to police.
HAMDEN, CT — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a pickup truck Sunday morning in Hamden, according to police.
Police responded to the area of Whitney Avenue and Todd Street around 9:20 a.m. on the report of an accident involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle, according to Sgt. Angela Vey.
Vey said the driver of the motorcycle, a 50-year-old Hamden resident, was treated at the scene by Hamden Fire Rescue personnel and taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the pickup truck wasn’t injured, according to Vey.

Whitney Avenue at Todd Street was closed for several hours while the crash was investigated and has since reopened.
