WTNH News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons has one word to describe the weather Tuesday in Connecticut, “nasty.” Well, at least it’s not snowing, but it will be a very cold and soaking rain that will be falling for most of the day and night in Connecticut. It may even end as some thunderstorms.

But once we get past today, Wednesday will be the reward with warmer temps and then back to reality with the possibility of some light snow on Friday.

But cold weather comes in for Thursday right through the weekend and we could even see a little snow on Friday morning,” Simmons wrote on his Facebook page.
