New $15K Bathtub Gives Hamden Couple Fits When It Won’t Stop Leaking: Report

The couple dealt with the issue for a year before seeking outside assistance.

HAMDEN, CT — A new walk-in tub specifically designed for senior citizens and people with mobility challenges sounded like a great idea to Hamden’s Rena and Tony Lloyd, however, it turned into a nightmare when the $15,000 tub wouldn’t stop leaking, according to NBC Connecticut.

The couple contacted the NBC Connecticut Responds team after dealing with the issue for the past year.

Fortunately for the Lloyds they had a lifetime warranty and the company came out to patch the leak several times, but the problem continued, according to NBC.
