New Hamden Restaurant To Offer 20-Plus Cuisines Under One Roof

The new concept will offer dine-in, pickup and delivery when it opens next week.

HAMDEN, CT — Wonder is opening a new Hamden location this month, bringing its multi-restaurant ordering concept to Dixwell Avenue.

The location, at 2100 Dixwell Ave., will hold its grand opening Thursday, Aug. 13, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 10:30 a.m.

Wonder allows customers to order dishes from more than 20 restaurants and cuisines in a single order. The Hamden location will offer dine-in, pickup and delivery.

Menu options will include concepts tied to chefs including Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson and Michael Symon, along with restaurants such as Tejas Barbecue and Magnolia Bakery.

The company said the location is designed to give families and groups more flexibility by allowing diners to combine food from multiple restaurants in one order rather than choosing a single cuisine.

To celebrate the opening, the first 100 customers who place orders of at least $10 will receive a Wonder swag bag, according to the company.

Wonder describes itself as a mealtime platform offering delivery, pickup, dine-in, meal kits and chef-driven restaurant concepts through one service.
