Obituary: David J. Troiano, 38, of Hamden

David J. Troiano, 38, of Hamden, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital due to injuries suffered in motor vehicle accident. David was born in New Haven on January 27, 1979; son of Michael and Anna D’Antonio Troiano; David worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed fishing, playing Italian cards and watching movies.

He especially loved spending time with his family, he will be sadly missed by his son Nikolas, his two nieces Chiara and Lianna and his two nephews Michael and Marco. In addition to his parents and son, he is survived by his brother Pasquale (Stephanie) Troiano, his twin Dennis (Paula) Troiano and his maternal grandmother Livia D’Antonio. In addition he leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving mother of his son Kirsten Williams. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Raffaele D’Antonio and Paternal grandparents Pasquale and Maria Antonucci Troiano.

His funeral procession will leave the North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue Thursday morning (June 15) at 10:15. Family and friends may call from 8:15am to 10:15 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Ascension, Hamden at 11:00am. Interment will follow in the All Saints Cemetery.
