Obituary: Edward J. Surette, 78, Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From North Haven Funeral Home): Edward J. Surette, 78, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 31 years to Roberta Picagli Surette.

Ed was born in Lewiston, Maine on Jan. 24, 1944, and was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Surette.

Ed’s passion in life was taking care of dogs.

Father of Dan (Claire) Surette, Ric (Ann) Surette, Mike (Kimberly) Surette and Scott (Shannon) Surette. Grandfather of Brooke, Adelle, Meghan, Matthew, Heather, Alex, Zachary, Aaron, Zachary, Tristin and Colin. Great-Grandfather of Rowan, Emerson, Easton, Mackenzie and Oliver. Stepbrother of Edgar and the late Robert “Bunny” Druin.
