Obituary: Elizabeth Ann DeLucia, 79; Formerly Of Hamden
She was a very caring, kind, generous and compassionate woman who was always willing to help others in need, when she could.

WALLINGFORD, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Elizabeth “Liz” “Ann” DeLucia, 79, of Wallingford, formerly of Hamden, wife of James Delucia passed away peacefully, February 17, 2023 at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.
Elizabeth was born in New Haven on April 16, 1943, a daughter of the late Milton and Barbara (Anderson) McDermott.
Elizabeth was a devout Catholic and active parishioner/volunteer at Our Lady of Family church. She loved her work at AT&T (formerly SNET) and enjoyed close friendships with many of her co-workers there. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. She liked to travel and go to restaurants with family and close friends. She was a very caring, kind, generous and compassionate woman who was always willing to help others in need, when she could.

In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by her sons, James DeLucia Jr. of Wallingford and his wife, Deborah; Paul DeLucia, Sr. and his wife, Terriann; grandsons, Paul, Jr. and Michael DeLucia; great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Mavis DeLucia; and her brother, George McDermott.
