Erik Ryan Altena, 30, of Hamden, passed away March 9. Beloved son of Rudolf and Joanne (O'Keefe) Altena. Loving brother of Christopher O'Keefe (Karissa) of Hamden and Amanda Altena of New Hampshire.
Also survived by his maternal grandmother Catherine O'Keefe of Hamden, his paternal grandparents Edgar Altena, Ruli Altena his step grandmother Barbara Altena and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Erik was the uncle of Joseph O'Keefe. He was predeceased by his grandfather Joseph O'Keefe. Erik was born in New Haven, February 15, 1987. He was employed by TD Bank in Hamden.

Funeral from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden Monday at 10:30 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, New Haven. Burial in All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
