Obituary: Frank Baldino, 89, Of Hamden

He worked as a Supervisor at Detroit Steel in Hamden for 30 years and 10 years at Creative Photography Studio in Hamden.

HAMDEN, CT — (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home): Francis "Frank" Baldino, a longtime resident of Hamden, died peacefully on November 8, 2023.

Born the year of 1934 in New Haven to the late Louis and Jenny Baldino. He leaves behind the love of his life Adelaide (Pizzorusso) Baldino. They were married for 69 years. Also nicknamed “Cheech” he is survived by one daughter Cynthia (Lenord) Hahn of Northford, two grandsons who he was so proud of, Matthew (Joann) Hahn and Michael (Aana) Hahn of New York City and four loving Great Grandchildren.

He was a graduate of Hillhouse High School. Frank did his service in the National Guard. He worked as a Supervisor at Detroit Steel in Hamden for 30 years and 10 years at Creative Photography Studio in Hamden. He loved to take long walks with his Adie, loved to read, watch Westerns, eat ice cream and spend time with his family and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023 from 9 a.m. until a service at 11 a.m. at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Avenue, Hamden. Burial will follow at Centerville Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Hamden.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Twin Maples Health Care Recreation Dept., 809 R New Haven Road, Durham, CT 06422.
