Obituary: James F. Stevens, 63, Of Hamden
Jim created, owned and operated Logic Design, a consulting company. He will long be remembered for his sense of humor & mischievous smile.

HAMDEN, CT — (From West Haven Funeral Home): James F. Stevens, 63, of Hamden, died peacefully on August 11, 2023. A son of the late Arthur V. and Olga Merle Stevens Sr., Jim was born in New Haven on September 22, 1959, the youngest of the four Stevens children.
His heartbroken family includes his brother Arthur V. Stevens, Jr. (Denise), sister Maria E. Stevens and his dearest family friends Denise, Bob, Robert and Nicholas Iannucci and Maile Russell. In addition to his parents, Jim’s sister Merle Stevens, brother-in-law Brian “B” Dinneen and his aunt Alda DeMarco predecease him.
During his career, Jim created, owned and operated Logic Design, a consulting company. Some of his clients included Staples, Capitol Records, Diageo and Winn-Dixie. At the time of his death, Jim worked as a senior analyst for Candy.com/Green Rabbit. In addition, he served in the Air Force and was treasurer of the Elm City Gun Club.

Jim will long be remembered for his sense of humor, mischievous smile and the pride he demonstrated for his Irish heritage.
The hours for visitation will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 15, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the West Haven Funeral Home. On Wednesday morning his procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lawrence Church of St. John XXIII Parish, where he will be welcomed into church by the sounds of a bagpipe. Interment will follow In Oak Grove Cemetery.
