Obituary: Jessimine Criscuolo, 75; Formerly Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home): Jessimine Criscuolo, 75 of Wallingford, formerly of Hamden, died April 1 at Midstate Hospital after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Joseph Criscuolo.

Born in New Haven, daughter of the late John & Marianna Baginelli Annatone, she worked for many years as a healthcare aide. Jessimine loved to bake & cook, occasionally feeding the entire neighborhood. She was a photographer in her youth, and later in life enjoyed painting & coloring.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a stepson Robert (Stephanie) Criscuolo of Hamden, a daughter Jessica Criscuolo of Wallingford, Melissa Tarquino, whom she considered a daughter, and a grandson Dante Criscuolo. She was predeceased by sons Michael & Stephen Esposito, a stepson Joey Criscuolo, and brothers Lucian, John, and Domenic Annatone.

Calling hours will be held FRIDAY (April 5) from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will follow in All Saints cemetery.
