Obituary: John Stephen Graham, 57, Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Colonial Funeral Home): John Stephen Graham, 57, of Hamden, passed away on March 10, 2023, at YNHH. He was born on November 26, 1965, in Kansa City, Missouri, to the late Stephen and Violetta (Henthorne) Graham. He was the loving partner of Angelica Regalado.

John earned his PhD at the University of Missouri-Columbia; he had been a Research Scientist at Yale University, and most recently a Faculty Adjunct at Quinnipiac University.

John cared deeply about his students, and was passionate about Physics and science in general. He was an avid reader, and his library comprises thousands of books on a wide range of subjects. John enjoyed fine dining, listening to music and drag racing. He also enjoyed building models such as cars, airplanes, and superhero characters.

In his earlier days, John had a music band. John was a giving person who always donated to organizations in need, particularly to the food bank; he appreciated good service, and always tip well.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Colonial Funeral Home, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, Family and Friends are invited to Blessed Sacrament Church, 321 Circular, Hamden at 11 a.m., for a Mass of Christian Burial.
