Obituary: Michael Griffo, 63, Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home): Michael Griffo, 63, of Hamden, beloved son of Michelina Inzero Griffo Chessick of Hamden and the late Anthony Griffo, passed away Aug. 4,2022 at YNHH after a long illness. He is also survived by his sister Denise Petry of Hamden, niece Jessica Petry and nephews Daniel and Michael Petry.

Michael was born April 23,1959 in Valley Stream, Long Island, N.Y. and was a graduate of West Haven High School. He had been employed for several years at Miles Pharmacy in West Haven and enjoyed classic cars and rock and roll.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 noon in Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamden. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 11 until time of service.
