Obituary: Michael John O'Connor, 42, Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Wallingford Funeral Home): Michael John O'Connor, 42, of Hamden, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 28, 2023 at his home. Born in Hartford on December 8, 1980, he was the son of Diana Pascarella and the late Thomas W. O'Connor Jr.

In 2005, he enlisted in the U.S. Army for 4 years where he served his country proudly and participated in Iraqi Freedom. Upon his return from service, Michael used his creative mind and talent to begin his career in tattoo artistry. His designs and memory will live on thru his art work (Mikey HAR).

Michael is survived by his mother Diana & step-father, Clifford Pascarella of Wallingford; his brother, Patrick S. (Jennifer) O'Connor of North Haven; his nephew, Patrick T. O'Connor; aunt & uncle, Janice and John Grygorcewicz; as well as numerous extended family members & friends. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas O'Connor Jr. & his uncle, Brian O'Connor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of the Resurrection, 115 Pond Hill Rd., Wallingford, CT on Monday, August 7 at 10 a.m. Military Honors will be rendered following the Mass. Interment will be private.
