Obituary: Noreen C. Laich, 89, of Hamden
Noreen, an enthusiast of art and literature, worked for many years for the Social Security Administration in New Haven.

HAMDEN, CT - (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home) Noreen C. Laich, 89 of Hamden, died peacefully in her home on December 16, 2021 with her children by her side.
She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Laich, loving mother of Dr. Judith Pepe (Vincent) of Middletown and Stephen Laich (Leslie McBurney) of North Haven, stepmother of Bryan Laich (Donna) of Branford, and beloved aunt of Steve Dymarcik of Arizona.
Her cherished grandchildren Christopher, Jenna, Julia and Cameron will remember her always as Nana.
She was predeceased by a sister Sheila Dymarcik of Scottsdale AZ and lifelong childhood friend Ann Hanraty of Hamden.
Noreen was born in New Haven on February 3, 1932 daughter of the late William J. and Anne King Condon. She worked for many years at the Social Security Administration in New Haven where she made many friends.
She was a voracious reader and loved learning of art, literature, ancient cultures, and history. She enjoyed visiting museums and decorated her home with works of the Impressionist masters.
She also loved animals and is reunited with her cherished chihuahua Poco whom she loved dearly.
Private graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday December 23 at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Friends and family may visit on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the funeral home.
