Obituary: Patricia Consiglio Zimbardi, 83, Of Hamden

Patricia worked as a bookkeeper for many years at the Hamden Board of Education. She was an avid reader and game enthusiast.

HAMDEN, CT — (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home): Patricia Ann Consiglio Zimbardi, 83, of Hamden, died May 3 at the Hospital of St. Raphael after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of Frank Zimbardi.

Born in New Haven, daughter of the late Milton & Eva Yelmini Consiglio, Patricia worked as a bookkeeper for many years at the Hamden Board of Education. She was an avid reader and game enthusiast. She enjoyed the beach, spending time at her family's cottage in East Haven when she was younger.

Patricia was an excellent baker, known for her Easter pies.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Joseph (Karen) DeAngelis of Madison, daughters; Laura Jean DeAngelis of Hamden & Karen DeAngelis Spina of Madison, stepdaughters; Camille Ann Rivera and Tamara Aubin, both of Florida, a brother Robert (Mary Anne) Consiglio of Hamden, and 6 grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Milton Consiglio, and sisters; Jeanne & Gloria Consiglio.

Friends are invited to call THURSDAY, May 11 from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. in the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Avenue, Hamden, followed by a parlor service at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.

The family would like to thank the doctors & nurses at St Raphaels and Bridgeport Hospitals for their dedicated care to Patricia.
