Obituary: Patricia A. Volpe, 88; Formerly Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Sisk Brothers Funeral Home): Patricia A. Volpe, 88, of Branford, formerly of Hamden, died July 6, 2023. Wife of the late Anthony Volpe. Loving mother of Anthony J. Volpe Jr. (Janice) of Orange, CT and Michael A. Volpe (Jennie) of Wallingford, CT.

Also survived by her cherished grandchildren Nicole Terwilleger (Nicholas), Mark Volpe (Usha), Melissa DeYoung (Joe), Michael Volpe, Jr. (Savannah) and 2 great grandchildren Rohan and Niam Volpe. Predeceased by brothers Frank and Daniel McGowan.

Patricia was born in New Haven July 1, 1935 daughter of the late Francis and Margaret Maselli McGowan.

She had worked as a Registered Nurse for many years and retired from New Haven Manufacturing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday at 12 noon in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday from 10 - 11:30 a.m. in Sisk Brothers Funeral Home 3105 Whitney Ave. Hamden. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Pl. Memphis, TN 38105.
