Obituary: Rachel Lilia Tierstein, 19, Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home): Rachel Lilia Tierstein, 19, of Hamden, passed away at her home on January 12, 2024. She was born in Milford, CT on June 27, 2004, to Lilia Sabella Tierstein and Robert Tierstein.

Besides her parents, Rachel will be missed by her brother, Robby Tierstein, her grandmothers, aunts, cousin, and many friends.

Before recently moving to Hamden, Rachel grew up in Milford and graduated from Jonathan Law High School. She was a girl who enjoyed makeup and teaching other females the importance of skin care.

A great friend, Rachel was always putting others first and helping in any way she could. Her kind heart was obvious in the love she had for her dog Maci, and as an advocate for all animals.

Rachel will be remembered for her beautiful smile, strong will, and gentle soul.

Friends may visit with her family on Friday, January 19 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at BEECHER & BENNETT FUNERAL HOME, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden. A Funeral Service celebrating her life will take place at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, followed by burial in Centerville Cemetery.
