HAMDEN, CT — (From Beecher & Bennett Funeral Home): Robert Edward “Bob” Esposito, 86, lifelong resident of Hamden, passed away at his home on August 23, 2023, while surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Hamden on November 14, 1936 to the late Pasquale and Beatrice Winkler Esposito, Sr.

For over 35 years, Bob owned and operated the Esposito Dairy Farm in Hamden. When not dedicating time to his cows, Bob was passionate about his beautiful flower beds and fruitful vegetable garden. After a long day in the yard, he often could be found enjoying the shade from the chestnut tree he planted as a child.

Bob didn’t have a mean bone in his body, to know him was to love him. Although never having children of his own, he had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and their children who all loved him dearly.
