Sally was born in New Haven on April 10, 1928 and called Hamden her home since elementary school age. She loved Hamden so, and never let an opportunity pass to tell people that she lived there. She created wonderful memories for family and friends with her upbeat attitude, interest and support.

There will be no formal services for Sally at this time, with a celebration of her life to be held in the future. In the meantime, her surviving children George Kipphut III (Claire Fuller) and Christine (Steve) Furstoss, her six grandchildren, one great granddaughter, brother Frank (Evelyn) Haynes and her nieces and nephews ask that you have a manhattan, scotch or vodka and tonic, sit on your porch, and remember the fun and laughter that we were all blessed with by having Sally in our life.
