Obituary: Sallyann Dixon, 82; Formerly Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (Contributed): Sallyann Dixon, 82, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Hamden, passed away surrounded by her family on March 2, 2020. She was born in New Haven on Jan. 31, 1938, to the late Clifford and Anna Pascarella.

Sallyann was an avid golfer, winning many tournaments, and loved watching the Jets and Mets with her beloved dog Sadie.

Sallyann is preceded in death by her husband David Dixon, sisters Christine Albano, Rosemarie Keyes, brothers Vincent, Clifford Pascarella, niece Georgeann Albano, nephews Frank Pascarella and Steven Keyes.

She is survived by her daughters Roseann (Harry) Tripp, Linda Guerra, Christine Guerra, Laurie (David) Leonard, Steven (Bonnie) Pascarella who she considered her son, brother Francis Pascarella, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Aug. 28 at 10 a.m. at St. George Catholic Church, 33 Whitfield St., Guilford, CT.

A memorial service wasn’t held at the time of her death due to COVID-19.
