Shirley D. Quinn, of Hamden passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2022. Shirley was born in Albany New York May 17, 1932. She was predeceased by her loving husband and high school sweetheart Edmund J. Quinn, her parents, Carmel and Clarence Drumm Sr., and brother Clarence Drumm Jr. Shirley’s career included her time as an executive administrative assistant at the former Southern New England Telephone Company.

She was also an active member of the Saint Raphael’s Women’s Auxiliary. Shirley loved traveling with Ed and doted over her two pet cats. She loved being with family especially on the holidays. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Dolores Drumm, nieces, Denise (Robert) Gurnee, Cynthia Agostino, Holly Drumm, Bonnie (Peter) Kumiega and nephews Cliff (Sharon) and John (Jennifer) Drumm and several great nieces, nephews and their families.Shirley will always be remembered for her faith, generosity, and an ever-positive perspective on life.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, Hamden. Burial will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park, Hamden. in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018.
