Obituary: Shirley E. Tozzo, 95; Formerly Of Hamden

HAMDEN, CT — (From Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home): Shirley E. Tozzo, 95 of Westbrook, formerly of Hamden, died peacefully at home May 25 with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven, March 15, 1928, daughter of the late John & Antonette Lavorgna Tozzo.

Shirley worked for 30 years as the Assistant Town Clerk for the Town of Hamden. She enjoyed the shore, and loved having family and friends visit her there.

She is survived by a brother, John Tozzo of Westbrook, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Howard & Donald Tozzo.
