Obituary: Stacy Lyn Dacosta, 42, of Hamden

Stacy, who worked for Pepe's Pizza of Wooster Street, was passionate about camping with her family and spending time with loved ones.

Stacy Lyn Dacosta, 42, of Hamden, formerly of East Haven, beloved wife of Kenneth Dacosta passed away on February 11, 2017 at her home. Loving mother of Chloe and Nicholas. Stacy was born May 30, 1974. Daughter of John Pompano, and Regina Franco Pompano of East Haven. Survived by sisters Antoinette(Ed )Pompano Hernandez, Johna Pompano, Step Mother Liz Pompano and step-brothers Bryan, Kyle Bennett, 6 nieces and nephews.

Stacy worked for the Famous Pepe’s Pizzeria of Wooster Street for 11 years. She loved her Pepe’s Family/Coworkers and spoke of them often. Stacy was passionate about camping with her family, trips to NY to see the Mets, summer days at the Theme Parks, and spending time with the people she loved.

Her funeral procession will leave Hamden Memorial, 1300 Dixwell Ave., on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 10:15am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in St. Vincent De Paul, 80 Taylor Ave, East Haven at 11 O’clock. Family and friends may call at Hamden Memorial Friday from 4-8 pm. Memorial Contributions for the Children can be made online at Youcaring.com in Stacy Dacosta’s name.
