Obituary: Vincent M. Cammarata, 17

Vincent M. Cammarata, 17, of Oakville, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was the son of Michael V. Cammarata of Watertown and Kristine (McGrath) Cammarata of Oakville.

Vincent was born in Waterbury, CT on August 31, 1999. He graduated from John Trumbull and Fletcher W. Judson Elementary Schools, Swift Middle School and Cedarhurst School in Hamden, class of 2017. He was enrolled in an Entrepreneurship Program at Albertus Magnus College in Hamden. He was an avid gamer and also loved music, singing and playing the guitar and keyboard. He gave the gift of organ donation and his memory will live on in others.

Besides his parents, Vincent leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Victoria “Tori” Cammarata of Oakville, his maternal grandmother, Maureen McGrath of Oakville, his paternal grandmother, Dolores Cammarata of New London, his paternal grandfather, Bryan Cammarata of Florida and his girlfriend, Nicolette “G.F.” Davidov, of Hamden. He also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins including Joan DeRosa of Watertown.

Arrangements: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 12 Ardsley Rd., Waterbury, CT. Everyone is asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT.
