Gimme Shelter is a Hamden-based group that raises funds and awareness for an Animal Shelter in Hamden. They are a division of Abandoned Animals, a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization. Gimme Shelter has linked their new account to an existing Abandoned Animals listing on Amazon Smile. If you shop at Amazon.com, the online giant will make a donation of 0.5%, from everyone who links their account to Abandoned Animals. This costs you nothing extra! "You shop. Amazon gives.” All you need to do is go to the Amazon Smile page and choose Abandoned Animals (of Bethany CT) as your charity. This endeavor has 0% overhead so every penny collected will go towards a new Animal Shelter in Hamden.
